Hello. My name is Jaras and this is my portfolio of a few projects which are running, powered mainly by PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, with a bit of Flash and ActiveScript, and wrapped in to HTML and CSS code. I have over 5 years experience as a web developer.
Though I am programmer in first place, I got valuable skills in graphic design with 7 years experience, so I'm very familiar with pixels dots and points, which helps me to manipulate graphic output used in web.
I'm one of those IT geeks, who sees program modules not in objects, but in programing code. Most of the code is my own intellectual product and not generated by machine. This makes code look clean, understandable and easy to pick for another programmer in case of need. That's why, if you'll take a look on my coded page source, you'll get it "clean style".
As a supporter of Open Source idea, I'm pretty much familiar with several free to use PHP packages. If there's the case of rediscovering bicycle, I'd rather use ready-built engines and will make it to customer needs. Regarding Google search engine - no doubts, I know those tips and tricks to get best position on it.

My recent biking job and company page. Most of web CMS-ed. It got quite impressive database of clients and user friendly, though very advanced, booking system (beta version) linked with online payments. Designed, coded and programmed by myself only.
Please use IE to review it. This is unreleased project, which primarily was designed for IE, as other browsers needed light corrections on CSS. For today, due to changes on server, few things might not function correctly.
That is
a database of restaurants which got categorized list of it, and could be administrated by clients (example is here, but please keep it as it is), linked with Google Maps (see here), and lot of other features (accessible to admins only). Designed and coded by me.
Furniture component wholesaler. Designed, redesigned and untill today administrated by other designer with no programming skills, as built-in simple CMS is easy to use. On this project I was working on basket system (see here or here, then click the basket) which is happily used for last 4 years with no changes or complaints.

Both websites were designed in a way to receive different type of templates and was taken to administrate by designer with quite basic programming skills, who for today, I believe, got quite advanced in putting code together in a way of company needs. Basically is simple and clear modules which makes it easy to do on a client side as well as on CMS side.
Very simple, based on very few files website, which was done in few days for friend of mine, artist Egle Micikeviciute. Since it was launched, it was administrate by her only.
